Clients are always recommended to inform us beforehand about their arrival or departure. Special concessions in the change of check-in and check-out times can be made on approval by the owners.

Damage Deposit
A damage deposit is to be paid on arrival at the accommodation booked and is refunded within a week of departure from the house. If any damages are found these would be deducted from the deposit. Refund is sent only by cheque or PayPal.
Behaviour
At all times during your stay at the Accommodation, You are expected to have consideration for the neighbours. If We or a competent authority in Malta are of the opinion that Your behaviour is such as to cause, or to be likely to cause, danger, distress, annoyance or damage to third parties or property, including the Accommodation you are staying at and furniture and furnishings in the same, We may terminate this agreement with immediate effect. In this situation, we will have no further liability to you and will not be responsible for meeting any expenses you incur as a result, making any refund or paying any compensation. You shall also be liable to pay for loss and/or damage caused by your actions and we will hold you and each member of your party jointly and severally liable for any damage or losses caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or losses, even if they exceed the €200 damage deposit, must be paid directly to the Accommodation owner. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you. We cannot be held responsible for the actions or behaviour of other guests or individuals who have no connection with your booking arrangements or with us.
BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Booking conditions
Definitions:
Accommodation: the accommodation described in the Booking Confirmation.
Booking Confirmation: the email or letter sent to you by us and including the following information:
(a) the address of the Accommodation together with the relevant dates of Your stay as well as the number of persons who will be staying at such address, and their details;
(b) The price, payment schedule and method of payment.
Booking Form – the booking form or email which has been filled in and submitted by you to us
We/Us/Our – www.maltagozoholidays.com
You/Your – the person who has submitted the Booking Form and in addition all the persons who are mentioned in the Booking Form and on whose behalf a reservation has been placed with Us; or in the case of additions or amendments made to the Booking Form any such additions/amendments which have been accepted by Us. You shall be jointly and severally responsible for all obligations imposed on you in terms of the Booking Conditions.
1. The Booking Conditions
The Booking Conditions specify the terms and conditions of your agreement with us.
By submitting Your Booking Form You acknowledge and agree that:
- The person submitting the Booking Form has the capacity at law and authority to bind each and every person on whose behalf a booking is made;
- You have read and understood the Booking Conditions and consent to the same
- You consent to OUR use of your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy;
2. Finalisation of Agreement and Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
A binding agreement is entered into with us as soon as we issue the Booking Confirmation. The Booking Confirmation will be issued after you accept our written or verbal quotation and you pay us a deposit as specified below.
3. Payment
At the time of booking, you will be required to pay a deposit of €200. The person who pays the deposit is held responsible for any possible damages and is expected to guarantee that acccomodation is well-kept during the stay.
The balance of the price for Your Accommodation (including a security deposit) must be paid in cash on arrival of the first one of you at the Accommodation. If We do not receive this balance in full and on time, We reserve the right to treat Your booking as cancelled by You in which case the cancellation charges set out in clause 10 will become payable.
The price being paid for the property includes basic utilities we give:
Cleaning of the property prior the arrival and after departure is included in the price. Any extra cleaning during accommodation will incur extra charges. 10 euros will be charged in case dishes and kitchen utensils are not cleaned up. One towel per person and one set of linen per bed is also provided by us, then it is up to one's discrepancy to wash them as much often as desired.
4. Accuracy
We endeavor to ensure that all the information and prices both on our website and in our brochures are accurate; however occasionally changes and errors occur and we reserve the right to correct prices and other details in such circumstances. You must check the current price and all other details relating to the arrangements that you wish to book before confirming Your Booking.
5. Your Accommodation price
Once your booking has been confirmed, as stipulated above, the price of your accommodation will not be subject to any changes unless we agree to a request made by you to make changes to your booking. In the event that you wish to add any persons who will lodge at the Accommodation they shall moreover be subject to the Booking Conditions in the same way as you and shall be jointly and severally liable with you for the performance of the obligations in terms of the Booking Conditions. .
6. Damage to Accommodation and accidental breakage charge or deposit
All bookings are subject to a non-refundable accidental breakage charge as specified in the Booking Form.
If you or any person invited to the Accommodation by you cause any damage to the property or any item in it, you will be required to pay for the loss and/or damage caused and we will hold you and each member of your party jointly and severally responsible. Unless the damage was caused accidentally and results in losses below €200, full payment for any such damage or losses will be deducted from the Damage deposit. If damages exceed the €200 damage deposit payment should be done prior to the departure. Failing to pay full damages would mean that the authorities would be called to solve the dispute.
7. Confirmation
You are responsible for checking that the details in the Booking Form are correct. In the event that any details are incorrect, you must inform us as soon as possible and in no case later than within 48 hours from having received Our Booking Confirmation. Notification must be sent by email and post. We shall not be held responsible for any errors which have not been notified to us within the time stipulated herein.
8. Changing your booking
While we shall endeavor to accommodate changes you may wish to make to your booking arrangements, we shall not be bound to do so. Any request for changes must be sent to us by email or post by the person who made the booking. Any changes accepted by us may lead to changes in the applicable prices.
If we are unable for any reason to accept the changes requested and You do not wish to make use of the Accommodation, We shall treat this as a cancellation by You, in which case a cancellation fee, as specified below, shall be payable by You to Us. The cancellation fee shall not be payable if the only change requested is a change in the names of the persons who will be lodging at the Accommodation but in this case both You and the person to whom the booking is transferred shall be jointly and severally liable for the payment of the price.
For the purpose of calculating the cancellation fee you are requested to inform us in writing or by email that you wish to cancel the booking.
In the case of other changes, we shall endeavor to inform you as to whether we are able to accommodate your changes or otherwise within 2 working days from receiving your request.
9. If you cancel your booking
If you need to cancel or amend your booking you must telephone us on the number shown on our written confirmation as soon as possible.
You will also be required to confirm your cancellation in writing or by email to the addresses shown on our written confirmation. A cancellation will not take effect until we receive written confirmation from you.
If you cancel your booking within seven days of receiving our written confirmation, we will refund the balance of any money you have paid us. After such period, if you cancel your booking more than eight weeks prior to the Arrival Date, we will retain the Initial Deposit of €200 and refund the balance of any money you have paid to us.
If you cancel your booking less than eight weeks prior to the Arrival Date, we reserve the right to retain the Initial Deposit and the Rental, and refund the balance of any money you have paid to us. In these circumstances we will refund the Rental (less any additional costs incurred) to you if we are able to secure an alternative booking for the Property.
10. Your accommodation
The Accommodation is reserved exclusively for the people named on the Booking Confirmation and no other persons are permitted to stay at the Accommodation. You shall not allow visitors to the Accommodation for the purpose of events like parties, celebrations or other large gatherings unless this has been agreed with Us in writing in advance and appropriate payments made (if applicable).
In the event that this clause is breached, any persons which are not mentioned in the Booking Confirmation shall be requested to leave the Accommodation immediately and You will be requested to pay for the accommodation of such persons as per the charging rates specified on our website at the time of booking with you as if such persons had been lodging in the Accommodation as from the date of arrival until the date when they have been asked to leave.
You also agree not to use the Accommodation for any illegal or commercial purpose.
You can arrive at your accommodation after [15:00] hours on the Arrival Date of your holiday and you must leave by [11:00] hours on the

If your arrival will be delayed, you must contact the person whose details are given on our booking confirmation so that alternative arrangements can be made.
12. Special requests
If you have a special request that does not form part of the arrangements described on the website please informs us in writing at the time of booking. We will do our best to comply although we cannot guarantee to do so in advance.
If your arrival is due late at night or in the early hours of the morning please inform us with booking so that we arrange for key collection and you can enter the Accommodation. For arrivals between these hours, no host will be present to greet you but a host will be available to meet you on the following day between normal working hours.
We do not accept bookings that are conditional upon any special request being met.
13. Our liability to you
Subject to any mandatory provision of the law which cannot be derogated from, We will not be responsible or pay You compensation for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, cost or other claim of any description if it results from:-
(a) the act(s) and/or omission(s) of the person(s) affected;
(b) the act(s) and/or omission(s) of a third party unconnected with the provision of the services contracted for and which were unforeseeable or unavoidable; or
(c) unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond ours or our supplier(s) control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised; or
(d) an event which either Ourselves or suppliers could not, even with all due care, have foreseen and forestalled; or
(e) If such injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, cost or other claim of any description is not imputable to us.
You shall indemnify us and hold us harmless from and against any claim, loss or damage solely based on your conduct or that of your guests.
Subject to any mandatory provision of the law which cannot be derogated from, in no event shall we be liable for any loss of profit or any other commercial damage, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential or other indirect damages under any cause of action arising out of or relating to the subject-matter of these Booking Conditions.
(f) Please note, we cannot accept any liability for any damage, loss or expense or other sum(s) of any description which on the basis of the information given to us by you, concerning your booking prior to our accepting it, we could not have foreseen you would suffer or incur if we breached our contract with you; or (b) any business losses.
(g) We will not accept responsibility for services or facilities which do not form part of our agreement or where they are not advertised in our web site.
14. If you have a complaint
If you have cause for complaint relating to the subject matter of these Booking Conditions, this must be brought to the attention of our representative at the earliest opportunity, and in no case later than 24 hours from such cause for complaint, so that action can be taken at the time to rectify the problem. The representative shall endeavor to find an appropriate solution promptly. Should the representative be unable to resolve the matter, details of the complaint must be notified to [email protected] by email within 24 hours from when You are informed that the representative is unable to resolve the matter or within 24 hours from when You have referred the complaint to the representative whichever is the earlier. Subject to any mandatory provision of the law which cannot be derogated from, You agree and accept that We cannot offer Your assistance unless you inform Us of causes of complaints within the time stipulated above and consequently cannot be held liable for any damages which may ensue as a result, including damages for non-performance or improper performance of the services provided to You by Us.
15. Behaviour
At all times during your stay at the Accommodation, You are expected to have consideration for the neighbours. If We or a competent authority in Malta are of the opinion that Your behaviour is such as to cause, or to be likely to cause, danger, distress, annoyance or damage to third parties or property, including the Accommodation you are staying at and furniture and furnishings in the same, We may terminate this agreement with immediate effect. In this situation, we will have no further liability to you and will not be responsible for meeting any expenses you incur as a result, making any refund or paying any compensation. You shall also be liable to pay for loss and/or damage caused by your actions and we will hold you and each member of your party jointly and severally liable for any damage or losses caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or losses must be paid directly to the Accommodation owner or other supplier prior to departure from the accommodation. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you. We cannot be held responsible for the actions or behaviour of other guests or individuals who have no connection with your booking arrangements or with us.
16. Use of information you give us and communicating with you
In order to process your booking and provide you with your confirmed Accommodation we will need to collect and process personal information. Where you provide us with personal information, you consent to this information being used as described in this clause and our privacy policy. We would like to send you information about special offers that we think will be of interest to you. We may do this by SMS or email. If You object to receiving this information from Us please write to us at [email protected] . We shall process Your request at no cost. For more detailed information about how we use personal information please see our privacy policy.
17. Unforeseen circumstances
If due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, like natural disaster or accidental damage to the property before your arrival and We are constrained before Your departure to alter significantly the essential terms of the Booking Conditions, we will notify You as soon as We become aware of the cause in order to enable You to take an appropriate decision and in particular to withdraw from Your contract with Us without liability to us or You or to accept alternative solutions. Such alternative solutions may include: to offer you equivalent or superior quality substitute accommodation or to offer you accommodation of lower quality, in which case the price will be reduced accordingly. We will also inform you of any impact such alternative solutions may have on the price. In such a case you bind yourself to inform us of your decision as soon as possible and in no event later than 24 hours from our notification to you. In the event that you cancel your booking in terms of this clause we shall endeavor to repay you any money already paid by you as soon as possible.
18. Non-Representation
Neither party is the partner, agent, employee or representative of the other party, nor has the power to incur any obligations on behalf of, or pledge the credit of, the other party.
19. Severability
If any provision of the Booking Conditions is held invalid or otherwise unenforceable, the enforceability of the remaining provisions of the Booking Conditions will not be impaired thereby.
20. No Waiver
A provision of or a right created under the Booking Conditions may not be waived or varied except in writing signed by the party to be bound by the waiver or variation. The failure by any party to exercise any right or remedy provided for herein will not be deemed a waiver of any right or remedy hereunder.
