Ta' Karmena is a duplex maisonette with pool. In total there are:

The top floor consists of 3 bedrooms where one bedroom has a double bed, an other has 3 single beds and the 3rd is with 2 single beds. One will also find a spare foldable bed to be used when needed. On this floor one may find 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower, a large kitchen and a large sitting room. It also has two balconies, one overlooking the pool area and the other overlooking the country side. This floor is connected to the ground floor by 2 staircases.
The ground floor consists of 2 bedrooms. One bedrooms is with 3 single beds and the other bedroom is with 2 single beds. The bedroom with the 2 single beds has a bathroom en-suite. In the main bathroom one can also find a washing machine. Also on this floor there is a large living area where the sofa opens into a very comfortable double bed. The kitchen is an open plan kitchen, dining and a small living area.
The pool and sunbathing area is also equipped with a bbq, garden furniture for sunbathing and dining al fresco. As one might see each maisonette has a fully equipped kitchen each with electric cooker and gas hob, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and a microwave. Also each maisonette has a TV, DVD player, telephone line, washing machine (ground floor maisonette only) and ironing facilities.
These maisonettes can be interconnected by an internal spiral staircase which can make the access from the 1st floor to the pool and also into the ground floor maisonette. This makes it ideal for large groups or a big family to stay together.
Location and area of Ta’ Karmena - Ix-Xaghra
Ta’ Karmena is situated in a quiet alley in the Village of Xaghra on the Island of Gozo. It is situated just 1 minute walk from the village square where one finds restaurants, bars and pubs. It is also 1 minute walk away from a supermarket, shops and pharmacies. It is about 300m away from the oldest standing temple in the world- the Ggantija Temples. It is also close to horse riding facilities and just 5 minutes drive to the beach and also 5 minutes drive to the city centre where you can visit all the museums, shopping, cultural and historical places.
The huge and ornately embellished baroque church of our Lady of Victories forms the focal point of this sprawling hilltop village. The whole village radiates around this Church Square. Lifestyle is simple and old fashioned- an interesting laid back lifestyle, historic attractions and a beautiful beach are the main attractions of Xaghra for the holidaymaker. The village of Xaghra is poised on a high limestone plateau. This explains the formation of caves and grottoes in limestone terrains. Nearby is the lovely red sandy beach of Ramla.
